Donor Wrangler Version 81 Released
We’re happy to announce the release of Donor Wrangler version 81, our first update in 2026. Here’s what it contains:
New Features
Privacy Policy requirement – As announced in our year-end webinar, organizations will be asked to provide a privacy policy in the system settings. This policy will be displayed on donation, registration, and volunteer forms, making it clear to your donors and supporters how you use and manage their data. All forms will continue to work even if you don’t provide the policy, but the system will continue to nag you until you add one. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding this requirement.
.docx Export – Letters can now be exported from the system as .docx files rather than PDFs, allowing you to edit them outside of the system if needed. You’ll find the option next to any system generated letter:
Improvements
Donations:
- The Bulk Add Donations functionality has been improved so that you can create a new donor from the same screen, without having to navigate away.
- The Bulk Add Donations modal will now retain certain settings, such as donor ID, so that you can add multiple donations from the same donor more quickly. You can, of course, search for a new donor on a subsequent row.
Grants:
- A new field for “Report Required?” has been added.
Tasks:
- On the task listing, you can now select multiple tasks at once using checkboxes, letting you mark them complete more easily.
Users:
- A new optional field for Job Title has been added to the system, which will assist our team by better understanding the role of the user who is reaching out for help.
Bug Fixes
- Some required fields on the email settings were not actually required. They’re now properly requiring you to provide the needed data.
- In some cases, bad copied/pasted data into interactions was causing data to fail to load. We’ve added some additional validation to allow the bad data to still load if it has already been added to the database.
