Donor Wrangler Version 83 Released
We’re happy to announce the release of Donor Wrangler version 83, an update mostly focused on improvements and bug fixes. Read on to find out what it contains.
New Features
Thermometer Builder – The thermometer builder that we added to our website as a free public tool and previously added to Donor Wrangler in March is now fully integrated into more places. You can build your thermometer, set the rules for the goal and which donations should count towards it, and it will automatically update any time a new gift is added/received. Further, it provides embed codes and images that automatically refresh, and you can insert it into your letter templates, email templates, and on donation pages. We hope this will help enhance your fundraising efforts!
Improvements
Donation Forms:
- Donation forms can now be set to offer only a quarterly recurring gift, and membership dates can be extended 3 months. This can make large annual membership fees easier to manage.
Emails:
- The visual email editor now better handles content pasted from Microsoft Word, stripping bogus HTML tags that are added and can break the editor.
Registration Forms:
- Entry Types can now be cloned, accelerating the process of building a form with multiple dates or multiple entry types that are very similar in nature.
- Form Submissions can now be edited after the fact to link them to a different/new donor profile, allowing you to correct errors caused by forms not having proper donor linking settings.
Volunteer Forms:
- The volunteer form builder has been completely rebuilt with a new, easier to use interface. Those who regularly use the form builder should find it much friendlier, and we’d welcome your feedback about further improvements.
Users:
- A new symbol has been added to the user listing showing at a glance whether or not they have enabled 2FA.
- When new users are registered, they will receive a welcome email with a link to login and reset their password.
Bug Fixes
- A bug connected to email list preferences that prevented users from removing themselves has been fixed.
- Donor display names for registration forms were not always being generated correctly, this has been resolved.
