Donor Wrangler Version 82 Released
We’re happy to announce the release of Donor Wrangler version 82, a small but interesting update that we think you’ll like. Read on to find out what it contains.
New Features
Kanban Board Style Task View – In an effort to make tasks more user friendly and useful, we’ve added a Kanban board style task view, which includes an on screen editor in a popup and a drag and drop interface. This addition adds a new Priority field to tasks, and also makes adds additional statuses other than simply To Do and Done. We will continue making tweaks in future updates, but we hope that this will be a useful addition right away!
Improvements
Donation Forms:
- You can now specify how the donor’s card statement will display the charge. It defaults to “Donation Received on [DATE]”. However, under Form Labels and Fields, you can now specify some alternative text. Useful for things such as “Membership Renewal Received on” or “Payment received on”, for cases where the transaction is not purely a donation.
Form Builder:
- Membership discounts for registration forms can now be configured to test the user’s membership against a specific date. It will follow the following rules:
- If you set a specific date on the form editor, this date will be used.
- If no date is set on the form editor, but there is a connected event, the event date will be used.
- If no date is set on the form editor, it will make sure the membership is active on the date of submission.
- Membership discounts can also now have a grace period defined, allowing expired members to still receive the discount if their expiration date was within the number of days you define.
General:
- Back end and front end libraries that power the system have been updated.
Grants:
- A new field for “LOI Submitted Date” has been added.
